New Trimax Mulcher
Introducing Our New Trimax Force 115 Mulcher: A Game-Changer for Electric Farming
At Forest Lodge Orchard, we’re always looking for ways to farm smarter and greener. Our latest upgrade, the Trimax Force 115 Mulcher, is helping us do just that. Paired with our 100% electric Monarch Tractor, this mulcher is making a big impact on our orchard operations. The Force 115 Mulcher is equipped with four heavy-duty belts and can handle wood up to 95mm in diameter. That means it’s perfect for tackling those stubborn branches and keeping our rows clean and healthy for the next cherry season.
Efficiency of the Trimax Force 115
One of the most exciting things about the Trimax Force 115 is its impressive battery efficiency. Running off our Monarch electric tractor’s PTO shaft, this mulching beauty can cover around 50% of the orchard on a single charge. With an estimated 2% battery usage per row, we can now mulch half the orchard in a single day, then recharge overnight and finish the rest the following day. Talk about efficiency!
Key Features
- Titan Hub Bearings: Designed for long-lasting durability, these bearings reduce maintenance needs and ensure the mulcher runs smoothly day in and day out.
- Four-Belt Drive System: This system provides additional belt grip and tension, improving overall performance and reducing downtime.
- PTO Shaft Efficiency: While the PTO isn’t the most efficient power transfer method, the Trimax Force 115 maximizes the tractor’s output, ensuring we get the most out of every charge.
Savings & Sustainability
This mulcher doesn’t just save energy—it saves money too. Running at only $2 an hour, we can mulch our entire orchard for roughly $30. Plus, it’s fully electric, so we’re keeping our emissions low and staying true to our zero-carbon goals. And combining it with our electric Monarch MK-V Tractor offers a massive amount of savings compared to traditional diesel-powered machinery.
